More people are shopping online these days to score the best deals, but when it comes to jewelry, some still like trying on bling before they buy. Especially for pricey purchases like engagement rings, shoppers want to make sure they absolutely love their selection before they splurge.

Since1910.com has recently launched the "Augmented Reality Try it On" feature for their line of Tacori Engagement Rings, allowing you to actually see the ring on your finger!

"Never before has a user been able to truly simulate the look and feel of an engagement ring on their very own finger without stepping foot into a retail store," states Eric Peerless, Vice President of Since1910.com.

When you’re headed out for a rigorous bike ride, denim might not be your first choice for clothing. However, Levi’s® is manipulating that mentality with the new Commuter line of cycling apparel.

The popular 511™ Skinny Jean and Trucker Jacket have both been optimized for the needs of the urban commuter cyclist.

“As an avid cyclist myself, I am confident this line has all of the key cycling-specific performance features cyclists value, but haven't been able to find in other lifestyle clothing options,” said Erik Joule, senior vice president of Levi’s Men’s Merchandising & Design.

Live Large with a Luxury Watch

If you're searching for a watch with "sensuous shapes, brilliant diamonds, opulent natural hued stones, rare decorative materials, intriguing colored metals, Swiss precision and innovative technology" (whew!), turn to Tiret. The luxury timepiece company created by Rock-a-Fella Records' Damon Dash and designer Daniel Lazar caters to whoever's got cash.

From rappers to real housewives, Tiret watches are favorites of the rich and famous. Kanye West has recently been wearing a custom-made gold one with a familiar face of diamonds. It reportedly took five months to make and cost Kanye $180,000. Usher also rocks a ridiculous wristwatch with his likeness, and a price tag of $250,000.

So how much does the commonfolk collection cost? With names like Debonair and Tourbillion, they sound expensive. Plus, any website that doesn't list product prices are usually extra pricey. Only a handful of stores in the U.S. sell them, with a few others in Dubai, Japan, France, Hong Kong, and Russia.

Gaze at the gorgeousness below! My favorite is the guitar.

While the slap bracelet boom of the late 1980s ended early due to injuries and banishments at schools, the adolescent accessory has been reincarnated into new products, such as watches. But now, Griffin Technology has gone a step further with a slap bracelet case for your iPod Nano.

Slap iPod Nano cases

"We've wrapped a memory-metal wristband with soft silky silicone," reports Griffin's website. "The Slap band self-adjusts to a comfortable fit, exactly your size." The framing protects the dock connector and volume controls but leaves the headphone port open. Press the Sleep/Wake button and a classic timepiece face appears.

Hotel Stocks Sweat Socks to Share

Plenty of hotels offer fully equipped fitness centers for those that like to keep to shape while on vacations or business trips. However, Westin Hotels & Resorts is taking it a stair-step further with their free Gear-Lending Program, which just launched yesterday.

Ladies can borrow capri pants, a sports bra, shirt, socks, and sneakers, while men get a shirt, shorts, socks, and shoes. Would you be creeped out wearing clothes (especially socks!) that thousands of other strangers have heavily sweated in? Of course the hotel claims they are hot water washing all of the clothing items in between uses and say most people are completely comfortable with the concept.

"Running socks aren't very intimate compared with bed sheets and towels," says Jenn Blazejewski, a 31-year-old management consultant, who is a daily runner and four-day-a-week traveler.

Jewelry By RUX Offers Ultra-Personalized Accessories

Jewelry company RUX realizes the idea that a piece of jewelry is often very personal. Be it a wedding band, a grandmother's pearl necklace, or a vintage bracelet, people often wear pieces of jewelry that mean something to them. RUX is taking it one step further – by providing just a photograph of a loved one, they can create a 3D portrait of a person’s profile, superimposed into a bracelet or a ring.  And while the idea is pretty cool, it comes with a hefty price tag – the prices start at $350 for a bracelet (which is just a resin bangle) and $1700 for an 18K gold or platinum ring.

As far as the bracelets go – they’re rather chunky and gaudy, and because they’re as big as they are, it’s hard to say if anyone would notice that they’re actually a profile.  The rings, on the other hand, would be a nice alternative to a plain gold/platinum band if you were getting married. I really like the idea of the profile ring, even though it is rather pricey.

What do you guys think? Would you wear profile jewelry?

Hot Watch: Romain Jerome's Eyjafjallaokull DNA

Specializing in unique, novelty watches such as ones crafted out of steel from the Titanic and dust from the moon, Romain Jerome is set to introduce another incredible luxury time piece. The Eyjafjallajokull-DNA claims to be made from actual volcanic ash and looks like it's melting right off your wrist. The face resembles fiery, molten lava and the hands are meant to look like little airplanes. While this collectible is certainly unique, critics are already complaining that this piece doesn't quite fit in with the brand's other more iconic creations.

Romain Jerome came up with the DNA series to "illustrate the legends of our time and the mythologies that will forge the memory of the 21st century." Will people still remember the Icelandic volcano's eruption and disruption many years from now? Romain Jerome doesn't care. They just wanted to create some media buzz for their brand and hope to make a pretty penny on their one-of-a-kind watches.
