This weekend was a busy one for celebrity weddings. Here are 4 couples who tied the knot on July 31st – August 1st.

Chelsea Clinton and Marc Mezvinsky

Former first daughter Chelsea Clinton married longtime boyfriend Marc Mezvinsky in Rhinebeck, NY. The affair, attended by 400 people, is rumored to have cost around $3 million! Father Bill Clinton lost 15 pounds for the event and fought tears as he walked his only daughter down the aisle.

James Van Der Beek and Kimberly Brook

Actor James Van Der Beek, perhaps best known for his role on “Dawson’s Creek,” wed pregnant girlfriend Kimberly Brook on Sunday, August 1st. Van Der Beek announced the nuptials on Twitter, though details are scarce. The couple will welcome a daughter this Fall.

Yesterday, the tell-all book Sex, Drugs, and Bon Jovi became available to the world, and it contains some rather titillating photos of a young Bon Jovi. The unauthorized biography, written by former tour manager Rich Bozzett, contains pictures of Bon Jovi in bed with naked and topless models as well as a faux (?) orgy situation. TMZ has the exclusive photos here.

Bozzet acknowledges that the naughty pictures, outtakes from a publicity photo shoot during the band's "7800 Fahrenheit" tour, were not ones Bon Jovi wished to share, but that didn't stop the disgruntled tour manager from publishing them. He'd held onto the negatives for several years and apparently thought the book was the perfect way to debut the scandalous prints. Bozzett believes Bon Jovi cheated him out of millions of dollars and claims the book is "about helping other people out there who have been mistreated like I was." A spokesperson for the band has "no comment" on Bozzett's attempts to "cash in on alleged experiences he had 21 years ago."

Quite honestly, I don't find the photos all that shocking, especially for a 22-year-old rock star. Do you?

Today was a very bad day for 24-year-old actress Lindsay Lohan.

Lohan appeared in a brief court hearing this morning before surrending to deputies and heading off to the Century Regional Detention Center in Lynwood, California. Here, she will serve her sentence, which was set at 90 days, but officials guess Lohan will only serve 25%, or 23 days of that.

Steve Whitmore, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Sheriff's department, stated that an overcrowding situation in L.A. jails results in non-violent, female prisoners serving reduced sentences. 

A judge sentenced Lohan to 90 days in prison and 90 days in-patient rehab for violating the terms of her 2007 probation attached to her DUI case.

To almost no one's surprise, Lindsay Lohan didn't show up for her DUI progress report hearing in Los Angeles this morning. Lindsay is currently at the Cannes Film Festival in France and the 23-year-old actress claims her passport was stolen and that she was therefore unable to attend.

Lindsay has a history of no-shows or arriving late to past court apperances and Judge Marsha Revel was not amused. She has issued a warrant for Lindsay's arrest and if Lohan makes her $100,000 bail she will have to refrain from drinking alcohol until she has a formal probation hearing, be fitted for a SCRAM device (alcohol monitoring) once she returns from France, and undergo random drug testing at least once a week.

Lindsay was convicted of drunk driving charges in 2007 and was ordered to complete alcohol education classes. She hasn't done so and that was the reason for today's hearing.

Never one to miss out on a chance to capitalize on his daughter's fame, Lindsay's father Michael attended the hearing and considers the ruling a victory.

Rumor has it that Rachel Uchitel, one of Tiger Wood's many alleged mistresses, has agreed to appear in an issue of Playboy. She won't bare everything, but she will go topless, allowing America to see what all of the fuss is about. The shoot is supposed to take place approximately 3 weeks from now, but Rachel has the option to cancel at any time. We're pretty sure she won't.

It was Rachel's texts that ulimately busted Tiger Woods and lead to the bizarre car accident drama last November. She has also admitted to an affair with married "Bones" star David Boreanaz.

Cindy McCain – Drifting

Drift racing, or drifting, is a style of racing in which a driver intentionally skids the back of a car through turns. Americans may know it from the 2006 movie The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift.
Of all the people you would expect to be into drifting, Cindy McCain, wife of 2008 presidential candidate John McCain, seems the least likely. However, the soon to be 56-year-old mother of four has always been a fan of racing and she even went so far as to travel to Japan to take lessons from one of the world’s top drifting instructors.

"I love it," McCain told ESPN when asked about drifting. "I'm probably a little too cautious with it because it is abnormal from what you're taught when you're taught to drive."

According to one study, the answer is yes.

Researchers at the University of Valencia came to this conclusion after testing 84 male students. They asked the guys to sit in a room and solve a Sudoku puzzle (borrrring). Two strangers were also in the room, an attractive female and one male. When the female left the room most test subjects were unaffected, but when the male left the room the subjects' stress levels rose. It seems being alone with a hot babe, even for just five minutes, causes a man's cortisol levels to rise. Cortisol is the body's stressed hormone and has been linked to heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and impotency.

No word on how Hugh Hefner has managed all these years.
