While the slap bracelet boom of the late 1980s ended early due to injuries and banishments at schools, the adolescent accessory has been reincarnated into new products, such as watches. But now, Griffin Technology has gone a step further with a slap bracelet case for your iPod Nano.

"We've wrapped a memory-metal wristband with soft silky silicone," reports Griffin's website. "The Slap band self-adjusts to a comfortable fit, exactly your size." The framing protects the dock connector and volume controls but leaves the headphone port open. Press the Sleep/Wake button and a classic timepiece face appears.
