With the re-popularization of 3D following the success of movies like Avatar and Clash of the Titans, everyone is jumping (back) on the 3D bandwagon, including men’s magazine, Playboy.

Any why not Playboy? Who wouldn’t want to watch a beautiful naked lady jump out from those static pages? I sure would.

Playboy is seeking to boost its circulation, which has dropped more than 50% since 2006 (people now just surf the Web for porn). Editorial director Jimmy Jellinek told AP that the June 2010 issue, featuring the amazingly hot Hope Dworaczyk, is designed to “remind readers that for all the infatuation with the Internet, there is nothing quite like having a magazine in your hands.”

My take? Not sure this is going to help much. Magazines are a thing of the past Jimmy. Unless Playboy can pioneer holographic pictorials, your days may be numbered. But I am a fan of Playboy. The photos are top notch.

The issue comes with 3D glasses, branded with the “True Blood” logo. HBO’s KILLER vampire show has a new season kicking off June 13.

Citing dozens of studies, the book’s authors report that men and women with similar personalities are more likely to be attracted to one another than to people with opposite personalities. Cupidtino is dedicated to helping Apple enthusiasts find other "Machearts" to date. Naturally, the site is only available on Apple platforms - Safari and iPhone/iPad apps. According to Cupidtino's Twitter account, over 8,500 people signed up for the beta in the first 24 hours. To be included, you can either follow Cupidtino on Twitter or complete Cupidtino's web form. So far, there's no information about what the service will cost.

The idea is a little strange, but who knows, Cupidtino could help you find someone to say iLove You to in no time!

According to one study, the answer is yes.

Researchers at the University of Valencia came to this conclusion after testing 84 male students. They asked the guys to sit in a room and solve a Sudoku puzzle (borrrring). Two strangers were also in the room, an attractive female and one male. When the female left the room most test subjects were unaffected, but when the male left the room the subjects' stress levels rose. It seems being alone with a hot babe, even for just five minutes, causes a man's cortisol levels to rise. Cortisol is the body's stressed hormone and has been linked to heart disease, diabetes, hypertension and impotency.

No word on how Hugh Hefner has managed all these years.

Yesterday, robbers broke in and tied up a woman during a burglary in Marbella, Spain. However, the raid was cut short once they realized that the woman they were terrorizing was action star Dolph Lundgren’s wife. After noticing all the family photos and recognizing the large 6' 5" Swede, the robbers left the home quickly.

Dolph, known for his portrayal of Ivan Drago in Rocky IV, is still as menacing today as he was then. He works out 6 times a day and is a karate black belt. Not a guy you want to get into a fight with.

Police are still looking for the robbers, but since they wore masks, there is not much to go on. Anette, Dolph’s wife, was shook up after the incident and the family has increased the home’s security in case of a repeat.

Dolph was out of town on business during the incident.

Specializing in unique, novelty watches such as ones crafted out of steel from the Titanic and dust from the moon, Romain Jerome is set to introduce another incredible luxury time piece. The Eyjafjallajokull-DNA claims to be made from actual volcanic ash and looks like it's melting right off your wrist. The face resembles fiery, molten lava and the hands are meant to look like little airplanes. While this collectible is certainly unique, critics are already complaining that this piece doesn't quite fit in with the brand's other more iconic creations.

Romain Jerome came up with the DNA series to "illustrate the legends of our time and the mythologies that will forge the memory of the 21st century." Will people still remember the Icelandic volcano's eruption and disruption many years from now? Romain Jerome doesn't care. They just wanted to create some media buzz for their brand and hope to make a pretty penny on their one-of-a-kind watches.

Dating simulation games are huge in Japan and enthusiastic men in the Land of the Rising Sun have even go so far as to marry their sim girlfriends! This game genre has yet to take off in America, but an upcoming game for XBox 360 (Japan) may stir some interest.

The wife-making utility in My Wife: A Bride Just For You lets players build the perfect spouse (if only they had that in real life). Gamers can customize a bride's looks, personality, name, birthdate, blood type, and more. For those who are too lazy to build a wife from scratch, there are a few pre-set models. Choices include the Childhood Friend Type, the Gentle and Natural Type, the Cinderella Princess Type, the Older Sister Type, and the Little Sister Type (that's kind of disturbing).

There are a variety of different activities players can enjoy with their wives, though we're not sure if sim sex is one of them. Players can, however, sip juice with their lovers, tend to her delicate undergarments, eat dinner together, etc.

My Wife: A Bride Just For You will be out in August in Japan for around $78 US. No word on if it will also be available in the US, but lonely gamers can only hope.

Thanks to a new site called Gamecrush.com, lonely gamers can now play with someone other than themselves.

For a fee, the new site will connect male gamers with hot women. Offically, the two will play games and chat but as “GameCrush does not monitor, moderate, or otherwise control the interaction between its users” there is sure to be all sorts of extracurricular activities.

Gamers can request to play with one of approximately 1,200 women, known as PlayDates, for a fee of $6.60 every ten minutes, not including tips (dare we ask how the ladies earn tips?). The dates include a private video chat session and the "casual game" of a gentleman's choice. Battleship, for example.

Gamecrush.com is currently in private beta, but interested parties can register for the mailing list if they want to know when the site is active. Women can also sign up to be a PlayDate and earn extra money.

Game on.

If we all die in a series of 2012-style earthquakes today we'll know who to blame: American college student Jen McCreight and the thousands of women around the world who are participating in Boobquake 2010.

On April 16th, Islamic cleric Hojatoleslam Kazem Sedighi told Iranian media that immodestly dressed women cause earthquakes. After reading his comment, McCreight came up with a way to "scientifically" test Sedighi's claim: Boobquake.

Today, McCreight and many others will wear the most immodest clothing they own to see if "the supernatural power of their boobs" triggers an earthquake. There actually was a 6.0 earthquake in Taiwan, but so far the majority of Earth remains intact. However, it's still early. Women's cleavage could still kill us all.

I can think of worse ways to go.
